Random Anonymous Chat

Privacy Policy

Last updated November 3, 2026

This page explains what information Random Anonymous Chat handles when you use anonymous chat rooms.

Anonymous account and profile

Anonymous sign-in creates an account ID and a session. The service stores your account ID, age-confirmation status, display name, age, and gender in its user database. Email is not requested during sign-in and is currently stored as null. Sessions expire after 30 days.

Your display name is shared with the person you are matched with. Your age and gender are not included in match or peer messages.

Chat messages

Message text is not written to the app's message database. Human chat messages pass through the app server so they can be delivered to both participants. The visible message history clears when you refresh the page, although an active room may reconnect.

Encryption

Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. The app server can process messages, and AI messages are also processed by OpenAI. When the site is served over HTTPS, the connection between your browser and the site is protected in transit.

Verification and service providers

Anonymous sign-in uses Cloudflare Turnstile. The verification token is checked by the app server with Cloudflare. The app also loads the Manrope font from Google Fonts.

Room and session cleanup

Ending a chat or signing out removes the active room and queue metadata associated with that session. The anonymous user profile may remain so the same anonymous ID can be reused later.

This summary describes the app's current behavior. It does not promise that third-party providers retain no data; review their policies for details.
